Learning and Outreach
Programmes

Explore our variety of programmes and activities

During COVID19, we have relooked at our offer to extend beyond solely building based support and activities. We have been working with our families to design sessions that will support our clients in engaging actively, and as safe as possible outside of their homes with their social groups.

As we navigate the crisis and realign our ways of working, we will be offering Community Outreach as a standalone service.

Community-Based Activities

We will pilot sessions in creating small ‘bubbles’ and exploring activities within the community. We will have a meeting point from where we will explore the agreed activity on the day. Each client will have an individual risk assessment alongside our general risk assessment for each activity. We will continue to follow the Government guidelines and regulations around social distancing and keeping safe at all times.

Examples of activities will include: Picnic in the park, Sports games, Tabletop activities, Sensory Activities etc.

In-Home Activities

There is also the option of offering support in the home for activities.  If this is of interest to you please, contact us through our contact page or give us a call.

Social Interaction Skills

Learning how to be a part of a group and respect each other, share, take turns, and understand others is very important.

Our clients are taught these skills through different media and are encouraged to practice them in their daily lives.
